The Innocence Network is a coalition of organizations — like the Los Angeles Innocence Project — dedicated to providing pro bono legal and investigative services to individuals seeking to prove innocence of crimes for which they have been convicted, working to redress the causes of wrongful convictions, and supporting the exonerated after they are freed. LAIP is a member of the Innocence Network.

The Innocence Project and the Los Angeles Innocence Project are both Innocence Network Members. The Innocence Project serves as the headquarters of the entire Innocence Network. There are over 70 Network Organizations. Find your local Network Member here.

No, each Network Member Innocence Organization is independently governed and funded. Find your local organization and show your support here. Donations made to the Los Angeles Innocence Project are not shared with nor distributed to any other organization, and directly contribute to LAIP’s work investigating and litigating wrongful convictions.

The Los Angeles Innocence Project funds our organization through generous donations from our community and fellow truth seekers, as well as government-funded grants, when they are made available. Individual and corporate donations are crucial support we need to propel our work.
